UniQuartz Calacatta RX engineered stone surface with a bright white base traced with delicate, fine grey veining

Calacatta RX

Universal Stone Engineered Stone Calacatta RX

Calacatta RX is an engineered quartz surface featuring a bright white base traced with delicate, fine grey veining. The subtle movement gives the surface a crisp marble-inspired finish that reads light and composed from a distance. Together, this gives the design a refined and understated character that works beautifully with timber, painted cabinetry and metal finishes. It is well suited to kitchen benchtops, islands, bathroom vanities, splashbacks and other tailored interior surfaces where a refined, cohesive finish is desired.

    Features, Warranty & Care

Engineered Consistency — manufactured to provide controlled colouring and patterning with less variation than natural stone.

Highly Durable Surface — dense and hard-wearing material designed for frequently used residential and commercial interiors.

Low-Porosity Surface — offers strong resistance to moisture and everyday staining while supporting a hygienic, easy-to-clean surface.

Scratch Resistant — highly resistant to everyday scratching but not scratch-proof; cutting boards should always be used.

Heat Resistant with Care — able to withstand normal kitchen use, although trivets or heat pads must be used beneath hot cookware to prevent thermal damage.

Low Maintenance — polished finishes do not normally require sealing and can be cleaned using warm water, mild detergent and approved quartz-cleaning products. Some speciality finishes may require additional care.

Manufacturer Warranty — selected products are covered by brand-specific supplier warranties. UniQuartz® carries a 10-year limited residential warranty. COMPAC® warranty eligibility and terms should be confirmed for the selected product and installation.

    Health & Environment

Engineered quartz is manufactured using natural quartz combined with pigments and polymer resins, creating a durable and low-porosity finished surface.

Its long service life and minimal routine maintenance contribute to practical performance in residential interiors.

Engineered quartz contains crystalline silica. The primary health risk occurs when airborne dust is generated during cutting, grinding or polishing, so fabrication must be completed by trained professionals using appropriate wet-processing and dust-control systems.
