Copacabana is a quartzite featuring a deep black background with strong white and cream horizontal veining in bold layered bands. The striking linear contrast gives the slab a dramatic, contemporary character that works especially well when the movement is carried across a long surface. The darker palette brings depth and definition while allowing the natural character of the slab to remain the focus. The movement can be carried across a benchtop, vanity or wall surface to create a considered architectural finish. It is well suited to statement islands, fireplaces, bar tops and high-impact feature walls, where the slab's individual pattern and tonal depth can be fully appreciated.
